Development of an Environmental and Social Risk Management System (ESMS) for TANROADS

Overview
The Tanzania National Roads Agency, an agency of the Ministry of Works, is inviting consulting firms for Consultancy Services for the Establishment of an Environmental and Social Risk Management System for TANROADS. The work is to be financed from the World Bank supported Tanzania Transport Integration Project.
Scope of Work

- The Consultant's work shall be structured into the following four distinct but interconnected phases. The Consultant is expected to work in close collaboration with a designated TANROADS Counterpart Team throughout the assignment:
- Phase 1Inception and Diagnostic Assessment (Approx. 1 Months);
- Phase 2ESRMS Design and Development (Approx. 2 Months);
- Phase 3Institutional Arrangements and Capacity Building (Approx. 2 Months); and
- Phase 4Implementation Roadmap and Finalization (Approx. 1 Month).
Requirements & Qualifications
- The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS), an Agency of the Ministry of Works, now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: Eligibility, Experience on Similar Assignments in the last ten (10) years, experience in similar conditions and availability of appropriate skills among staff related to the assignment.
