The Institute of Biodiversity and Protected Areas in Guinea-Bissau, through the WACA ResIP 2 GB coastal resilience project, is seeking expressions of interest from consulting firms or joint ventures to carry out technical studies, architectural design, environmental and social impact assessments, bidding document preparation, and supervision and control of construction works for tourism and other infrastructure. The assignment falls under a World Bank financed project addressing coastal degradation and climate change impacts affecting Guinea-Bissau's coastline, including loss of beaches, dune systems and mangroves. Interested firms must demonstrate relevant qualifications and experience, including work on low environmental impact park infrastructure design, and provide references detailing past missions, their value, duration, country, funding entity and the firm's role. Firms must also show technical organisation and management capacity, including a certified quality management system, availability of key staff, and legal standing documentation. Only satisfactorily completed missions from January 2010 onward will be considered, supported by proof of completion; contracts, mission reports, emails, invoices or receipts are not accepted as such proof. Shortlisting will be scored out of 100 points, split between organisational and technical capacity and relevant experience.
