University Press PLC is one of Nigeria's leading educational publishers, listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: UPL), founded in 1949 as the Nigerian branch of Oxford University Press. The company was Nigerianised and renamed University Press PLC, and continues to publish educational textbooks, dictionaries, and academic materials for Nigerian primary, secondary, and tertiary education markets. University Press is headquartered in Ibadan and is one of the oldest continuously-operating publishing houses in Nigeria.
