Transcorp Hilton Abuja

Transcorp Hilton Abuja is a 667-room 5-star luxury hotel located in the heart of Abuja, Nigeria's federal capital, and operated by Hilton Worldwide under a management contract with Transnational Corporation of Nigeria PLC (Transcorp), Nigeria's leading indigenous conglomerate. Opened in 1987 as the Abuja Sheraton and later Nicon Hilton, the hotel was acquired by Transcorp in 2005 and has been the preferred accommodation for Nigerian presidents, foreign heads of state, diplomats, and international delegations visiting Abuja. Transcorp (majority-owned by businessman Tony Elumelu) is listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited and also operates Transcorp Power, Transcorp Energy, and other strategic Nigerian assets.
