About Julius Berger Nigeria

Julius Berger Nigeria PLC is Nigeria's largest civil engineering and construction company, listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: JBERGER), and historically associated with the German engineering firm Julius Berger AG (now Bilfinger Berger). The company was originally founded in Nigeria in 1965 following the construction of the Eko Bridge in Lagos, Nigeria's first major cable-stayed bridge. Julius Berger Nigeria has been responsible for many of the country's most iconic infrastructure projects including the Third Mainland Bridge (Africa's longest bridge when built in 1990), the Aso Villa (Nigerian presidential complex in Abuja), the National Assembly complex, numerous airports, highways, oil and gas installations, and the Eagle Square in Abuja. The company employs tens of thousands of Nigerian engineers and workers.
