Cement Company of Northern Nigeria

Cement Company of Northern Nigeria PLC (CCNN), operating as "Sokoto Cement", was a historic Nigerian cement manufacturer based in Sokoto State, Northern Nigeria, which was merged with Obu Cement Company in January 2020 to form BUA Cement PLC. CCNN was one of the earliest indigenous Nigerian cement producers and a significant employer in Sokoto State, and its acquisition by Abdul Samad Rabiu/BUA Group in 2009 was a key step in BUA's entry into cement manufacturing. The Sokoto plant continues to operate as part of BUA Cement with two production lines totalling approximately 4.5 million metric tonnes per annum.
