Ardova PLC (Forte Oil)

Ardova PLC (formerly Forte Oil PLC) is a major Nigerian integrated energy solutions provider listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: ARDOVA). The company was originally British Petroleum's Nigerian operations (BP Nigeria) established in 1964, Nigerianised as African Petroleum (AP) in 1978, privatised and rebranded as Forte Oil in 2010 under Femi Otedola, and subsequently acquired by Ignite Investment and Commodities Limited in 2019. Following the acquisition, it was rebranded as Ardova PLC. The company operates over 450 retail outlets across Nigeria, along with aviation fuel, lubricants (under the Forte and Super brands), and LPG businesses.
