APM Terminals Apapa

APM Terminals Apapa is the Nigerian operation of APM Terminals (part of Danish shipping and logistics giant A.P. Moller-Maersk Group), operating the largest container terminal at the Port of Apapa, Lagos. The terminal handles over one million TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) of containers annually and is one of the busiest container terminals in West Africa. APM Terminals signed a concession agreement with the Nigerian Ports Authority in 2005 as part of the Nigerian ports concessioning programme and has since invested significantly in terminal modernisation and capacity expansion.
